Paul Davies is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager, a Visiting Professor at University of Bolton and has a key role within Arup as their Global Stormwater Skills Leader

He has more than 40 years of experience providing specialist expertise in flooding, integrated urban drainage and surface water management. Paul has been involved in several ground-breaking projects over his career to date, including building a real-time control simulation model covering a city with more than 1 million population. More recently, Paul has developed some of the UK’s most advanced Integrated Urban Drainage (IUD) models for analysing surface water management options to solve flooding. He has worked on drainage systems in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Philippines, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, South Africa, Canada and the UK.
