2017 will be the first year with the new Water Law in force. This law will feature provisions on stormwater that drainage system operators have long been waiting for. We have the honour to invite you to a conference where representatives of institutions such as Ministry of Environment, National Fund For Environmental Protection and Water Management and Chamber of Commerce “Polish Waterworks” will provide information on the influence of the new provisions.

Conference topics
The subjects of lectures and discussion panels will also feature selected issues in the area of gaining funds for modernising and redesigning of already-existing drainage systems. There will be presentations of cutting-edge modeling and designing methods as well as data bases, which should be used when preparing concepts of stormwater drainage systems (including among other adaptation to climate change). RETNECJAPL representatives will present the progress made on the implementation of Polish Atlas of Rainfall Intensity (PANDa) carried out together with Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute, which is the source of up-to-date information about design rainfall intensity used in designing and modeling stormwater drainage systems in Poland. They will also present examples of successful implementation within PANDa project into integrated rainfall models.
Participants
Foreign guests who have practical experience and great knowledge about issues connected with rainwater will participate in the conference. Best world practices on implementing warning systems against urban floods and reduction of the frequency and volume of stormwater overflows in combined systems will also be presented.
