Head of the Water, Nature and Agriculture Department at the Municipality of Aarhus. Responsible for the governmental tasks in the second largest city in Denmark concerning drinking water, groundwater, sewage water, streams and lakes. Responsible for Climate Adaptation Plan for Aarhus – “Time and Space for Water”, and several implementations of blue-green infrastructure for storm water management. Former advisor for the Danish Ministry of Environment and member of the leader team of the largest river rehabilitation project in Europe, for restoring 25 km of the largest Danish river including recreation of wetlands, lakes and the river delta. Also experiences with cooperation on water and climate adaptation with authorities and water utilities in Poland, Czech Republic, UK, China, Japan and Tanzania.
