Graduated from Faculty of Sanitary Engineering of Wroclaw University of Technology, he is an expert on water and sewage technology, waterworks and sewage systems and dewatering of urbanized areas. He is an employee at Environmental University in Wroclaw and was employed at Kielce University of Technology from 2000 to 2013. From 1983 to 1993 he worked in design studios. He is a co-author of more than 100 completed designs of rural water conditioning facilities. From 1987 to 1989 he led pilot research and technological start-ups of the first fully-automated contained water conditioning facilities in Poland; types AKSUW 20 and AKSUW 60. He is a co-author of many innovative solutions for water and sewage infiltration into the ground. He is also the author and co-author of more than 200 reviewed scientific publications including an academic study book published Poland-wide and 32 mornographies or chapters in joined monographies. Led over 50 research projects, the findings of which were classified by the contractors. He has been an adviser for 12 PhD dissertations and over 250 Master and Engineering degrees. From 1997 to 2003 was a reviewer of applications for technical approval of repetitive sewage treatment plants for Technical Approvals Commission at Institute of Environmental Protection. Since 2007 he has been a member of Civil Engineering Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences in Sanitary Engineering unit. He is also a member of scientific committee of “Wodociągi-Kanalizacja” monthly magazine.
